For sharing information across the web, nothing beats the Northern California Bass Fishing pages. We have our own tournaments (rally), plus fish together in numerous tournaments across California. It all started when two forum members were bragging and setting up a little friendly competition using only one lure on the Delta. Another forum member asked if it was okay to join the fun.
It turned into a great event, including a raffle and trophies. Any extra money from the entry, and procedes from the raffle went directly into the Crenshaw Memorial fund. We managed to raise over $500.
It was all set up in about a month. (We ended up not doing the one lure rule) We had a blast and decided to make it a regular event.
To qualify to fish in a Nutcase Classic, you must post at least once on the forum, if only to say you're in. (Or be sneaky and post for someone else that doesn't have access)
Boaters and Non-boaters are welcome. Most (but not all) members are betweem 30 to 60, though age is not a factor, do have a signed release for your boater if you are under eighteen. We definitely accept all ages, as long as you want to fish.
We call ourselves the Nutcases of NCBF.
